Community Update: New Vaccination and Testing Sites in Coronado

1/18/2021
City of Coronado and Sharp Hospital to Host Vaccination Site

The City of Coronado, working with Sharp Coronado Hospital, has opened a vaccination site in Coronado, beginning today, to help the region more quickly move on to the next phase.

Our Coronado Firefighter/Paramedics have received training and, along with Sharp medical personnel, will administer the vaccines at the Coronado Community Center, 1845 Strand Way. Appointment registration is required. The hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays

Governor Newsom announced today that all Californians 65 years and older are now eligible for the vaccine.  Government websites will be updated shortly to reflect the new order.

Appointmentscan be made through the county of San Diego’s website here.
