Coronado Cays Park heads-up

4/28/2020

Dear Homeowners,

This is a heads-up from the City of Coronado that I am passing on to you.  Due to new Health Department orders and in an effort to keep Coronado Cays Park open, the City of Coronado is closing the restrooms near the Cays fire station until further notice. This will allow the City to treat the Cays Park as a neighborhood park with reduced monitoring and disinfecting requirements.

The Cays Park has been a challenge for City personnel as far as compliance goes and those using the park need to do better with social distancing and the wearing of face covers. The only other park(s) that produced as much concern with City personnel is closed – Dog Beach/Sunset Park.  There is a concern that individuals are not acting in a responsible manner at Cays Park.  Thus, the City will be engaging in extra public education to gain compliance.

Please do your part to ensure our neighborhood park/dog run is not closed down due to non-compliance. Follow social distancing and face covering requirements to help prevent the potential spread of the coronavirus.

Stay safe and remain calm.

Sincerely,

CCHOA Management
